Scheduling
DbClone Operations:
DbClone operations can be performed
instantaneously on demand
by few clicks on the DbClone Console, or can be
scheduled
to be started at a later time of your choice.
Dbclone provides capability to predefined unlimited number
of standard schedules for users and DBA’s to minimize the
scheduling conflicts and disallow a DbClone operation during
undesired hours. DBA is allowed to create the Schedule Templates
used for scheduling the DbClone operations.
Scheduling of an Dbclone operation is
performed by selecting a pre-defined Schedule-Templates at start.
When an operation is set up through DbClone Scheduler, it
automatically performs the operation at the scheduled time.
Manage Schedule Templates feature can be accessed
only by DBA. Manage Schedule Templates consists of the
following features:

Edit Schedule Templates:
The
DBA or the DbClone super-user can create, modify or delete
the existing Templates for use by DbClone operation by any
DbClone users.
Add Schedule:
The
DBA or the DbClone super-user can add new Templates for
users for DbClone operations at any convenient non
business hours like the off-peek hours.
Modify Schedule:
The DbClone super user can modify the parameters of the
already existing Schedule Template like the expiry date of
the template or the scheduling nature of the template
whether it is One time or a Repetitive task and also the
nature of operation that template has to perform.
Delete Schedule:
The
DbClone super user can delete the existing schedule
template or the ones that already expired
Show Active Schedules:
DbClone provides dynamic reports for DBA to identify
Active Schedules that are currently in use. The currently
scheduled DBClone operations are can be dynamically
reported. |
